OCIA Adapted for Children (Year 2)

OCIA Adapted for Children (OCIA) — a minimum two-year process leading to Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist. Sacraments are typically received at the Easter Vigil of Year 2 or Year 3. A Godparent or sponsor is selected by the start of Year 2.

Quick facts
  • Who: Unbaptized children age 8+, or children baptized in another Christian tradition who wish to become Catholic.
  • When: Year 1: Wednesdays 6:15–7:30 PM (shared with FC Year 1). Year 2: Sundays 9:45–11:00 AM. Sessions run September through May. English only. Class size is capped at 12.
